With an "excellent location" 13 miles from Downtown Houston, this "shopper's dream come true" has a "pleasant and helpful" staff and "direct access" to the adjacent monster mall (over 350 stores); "ok" rooms, outfitted with cherry-wood touches, are showing some "wear and tear", but remain "comfy" thanks to "double-nozzle shower heads" (many also have impressive balcony views of the city); N.B. watch out for Internet and phone charges.

The staff was friendly.
Everything is costly.
In the room we stayed the AC is leaking and the carpet damp as a result. Although rate is already high, internet is not free. Westin has to benchmark its service and facilities.
